| DYNAMIC EDGE TECH GRANT APPLICATION |
The Dynamic Edge Tech Grant program exists to help local non-profit organizations fund a project they may have put aside due to funding issues, lack of expertise, or both. Dynamic Edge aims to assist a local non-profit by either kick starting a specific IT project, helping the organization assess and budget for its long term IT needs, or assessing and maintaining an existing technology project. Because each organization’s needs are different, your project ideas are limited only by your imagination.
Sample projects include, but are not limited to:
IT budget and planning |
Financial software (Ex: QuickBooks, etc.) assessment and or training |
Web site development or redevelopment |
Network assessment and maintenance |
Business or process consulting |
Database creation or revitalization |
New server installation or maintenance |
Search engine optimization / AdWords |
PLEASE NOTE: The deadline has been extended from October 15th to November 18th!
Submissions will be accepted from September 15, 2008 to November 18th, 2008. Finalists may receive additional instructions after November 18, 2008. Winners will receive notification by December 1, 2008.
In Michigan, the organization must be a 501(c)(3) and be located in Wayne, Macomb, Oakland, or Washtenaw county. In Tennessee, the organization must be a 501(c)(3) and be located in Williamson, Davidson, Cheatham or Sumner county.
It is highly recommended that the applying organization have a specific project in mind, as well as a demonstrable ability to maintain or continue the project that the Tech Grant initiates.
The Dynamic Edge Tech Grants are awarded in the form of service hours from Dynamic Edge. The grant size will be determined by the associated project, and will not exceed $2,500 worth of hours. The object of the grant is to supplement associated labor costs of project implementation. The Grant does not cover hardware or software costs.
Because this application is an online form, we recommend writing answers in a separate document, then copying and pasting answers into the fields. By having the information separate, in the event of a technical failure your work will not be lost. |
