Michigan Paving & Materials Co.
Problem:
Late one night, a scale house owned by Michigan Paving & Materials Co., the technological leader in the field of asphalt construction, was targeted by a determined arsonist. A gasoline fire wrecked havoc on the inside of the building, including the computer linked to their brand-new digital scale.
Solution:
Less than two hours after the fire was out, one of our expert consultants was on site to begin the recovery process. Judging by the amount of visible damage, we knew that the cooling elements inside the computer had overheated and would eventually fail, destroying the computer and all of their priceless data.
Working through the night, we salvaged every shred of data remaining in the burned computer and then transferred it onto a brand new computer, which was then carefully calibrated with the other new equipment. By the next morning, the office had been re-painted, all of their equipment was back online, and things were business as usual.
Customer Feedback:
“MPM is grateful for and impressed by the level of service and professionalism you’ve provided in the aftermath of the Kalamazoo scale house fire. You’ve been tremendously responsive and flexible in making unplanned overnight visits and taking ownership of the solution…”
